After stabbing theirs, it seems nobody's got your back

No surprise today

But I got pushed away
They won't see the tears

When it's weakness that you fear
It's just something in your eye

Stepping through your empty empire

With rubbled streets, abandoned campfires
You're a toppled sacred cow

No one to dispute what you say

Vivid memories are a sick, cruel crime

And the cloying sweetness hits me
Nobody seems to remember
It's just plain old High-C
Still, people signed petitions
They rallied on to bring it back
Infantilism is tradition
